Design studio is a space that provide students to work and design on their idea. Not only workspace, but also students will be lectured and tutored in the studio. Design studio can be said the second home for students too. Students usually spend most of the time making model or design in design studio other than their own home or hostel. It is also a platform for students to exhibit or present their design. Every due submission, students have to prepare presentation to the interim and presentation of their design idea.
Through this project, I am able to produce objects to communicate ideas and also explore one form of generating design concept or idea. Lastly, I am able to construct a representational piece of art based on initial ideas that have been abstracted through the process of translation and interpretation.
PROJECT 1 -
SELF-EXPRESSION THROUGH OBJECT - REPRESENTING ME
This is the first project in design studio 1. In this project, we are given a chance to express myself, to understand myself, to find out the true of me and proceed it with an abstract style on it. The material i use are only cardboard and iron wire.
