DESIGN STUDIO 2
PROJECT 2a
Our project 2a is site analysis in port dickson. We were given a chance to travel Port Dickson in 3 days 2 nights. We are suppose to collect all the elements and informations of the site and make a report to present it when we back to campus.
PROJECT 2b - Picnic Pavilion
In Project 2 b, we were form a group with pair and tasked to design a retreat house for a specific client. And the client we have chosen is James Cameron. He is the director who direct Avatar and he is also an environmentalist. Each of his movies was trying to bring out a environmental message to tell us. As our site is a natural place, it is the most suitable client for us.
Reflection: Picnic Pavilion is a combination with picnic activities in a pavilion. It is very interesting project for me. Initially, I have no idea what to do with a picnic pavilion. Until the end, we come out a picnic pavilion call "Life". I have learned that actually the simplicity of design is the most complex and also the prettiest creation.
