Building-context Relationship of Salisbury Cathedral

As a response to deteriorating relations between the clergy and the military at Old Sarum Cathedral the decision was taken to resite the cathedral and the cathedral and the bishopric was moved toSalisbury. The move occured during the tenure of Bishop Richard Poore, a wealthy man who donated the land which it was built. The cathedral has been mentioned by author Ken Follet as one of two models for the fictional Kingsbridge Cathedral in his historical novel, The pillars of the Earth. It was also used for some external shots in the 2010 miniseries based on Follett's book and was shown as it is today in the final scene.

TASK B - Analysis Presentation Board

Next, we have to draw a presentation board that is relate to our historical building which is Salisbury
Cathedral.

TASK C 3D Abstraction Model

In task c, we are required to choose part of our historical build to make a 3D abstract model. As our historical building is Salibury Cathedral, we choose half of our building to be the part to make.

In this project, I able to make a historical model with bulsa wood. I am also able to analysis historcal building. I understand how a historical building was built and its history. I also figure out who was the architect to build the building.
